In May 2024, InSync, a leading provider of large-aperture MEMS Mirror Array and related optical projection solutions, completed another round of capital to tens of millions of yuan, with the investor HUA Capital. In March and November 2023, inSync had obtained strategic investments from Focuslight (Stock: 688167) and SoftBank China. This marks the third round that inSync has received investment from top-tier VC investors in the industry. It is reported that the funds raised in this round will mainly be used to accelerate the research and development and commercial mass production of the company's globally pioneering large-aperture MEMS Mirror Array and LBS/LiDAR.
The company, founded at the end of 2022, is the only MEMS companies that can achieve a large aperture of up to hundreds of square millimeters while retaining the advantages of high integration, low cost of MEMS, and can 100% pass the automotive-grade AEC-Q100 standard (1500G Shock Test) for scanner technology. The company's team is composed of professional and industrialization talents who graduated from Tsinghua University and the University of California, Berkeley, which are among the earliest institutions in the industry to conduct MEMS research. The core members have years of experience in the design and development of MEMS devices, process technology, and wafer fabrication experience. The products are used in laser projection display, laser detection application, AR/VR, etc., helping customers achieve highly competitive products in the market.
In the future, InSync will provide MEMS Mirror Array and related system for customers in the fields of vehicles, dynamic projection, medical and consumer electronics. The company will continue to promote a pragmatic and innovative corporate spirit, actively explore the frontier application technology of optical MEMS scanning, provide customers with more advanced and convenient solutions.
